Celebrating the Joy and Anticipation Before the Spring Festival

We are about to kick off a one-week Spring Festival holiday starting January 28. The Spring Festival is the grandest holiday in China and also the time for the largest annual migration of people globally. Every year, people across the country return to their hometowns to reunite with family and friends, sharing the hard work and achievements of the year. Before the holiday, kelaiwood’s sales department held a unique awards ceremony and dinner. Everyone was busy preparing for an event that was both ceremonial and full of joy, hoping to relieve stress and look forward to the future together before the Spring Festival break.

Red envelopes are a traditional part of our annual celebration, symbolizing blessings and good fortune. According to the Chinese zodiac, this year is the Year of the Snake. Each colleague drew a blind box with their snake-themed figurine, symbolizing a smooth and prosperous year ahead. After handing out the red envelopes, we followed our custom with a fun interactive session. Each colleague wrote down their expectations and goals for the upcoming year, sealed the letter, and promised to open them together during the 2025 annual meeting to see if everyone had fulfilled their commitments. This brought festive cheer and added anticipation and motivation for the new year.

Next, everyone shared their growth and achievements over the past year and discussed new goals and plans for 2025.

Maggie said, “This year, through company training, guidance from colleagues, and in-depth communication with clients, I have gained valuable experience in the wood flooring field. In 2025, I hope to be more precise in analyzing customer needs and continue to improve my expertise in product recommendations, helping more customers find the best wood flooring solutions to create their ideal home.”

Yina also shared her insights: “This year, I’ve made great progress in product knowledge and customer communication, especially regarding the materials, applications, and customer needs in wood flooring. This year, I will continue with market research and introduce more wood flooring solutions that meet customer needs.”

Nina (Russian market) said, “In 2024, through close communication with Russian-speaking clients, I not only helped them choose the most suitable products but also expanded our brand presence in the market. In 2025, I will continue to strive for greater market share and help more customers achieve their ideal home spaces.”

Nicholas added, “This year, I not only improved my professional understanding of wood flooring products but also enhanced our service level through interactions with clients. In 2025, I hope to strengthen teamwork and drive the launch of more innovative wood flooring designs to meet market demands.”

Other colleagues also shared their reflections and plans for the new year. Some mentioned they wanted to better manage their time and improve work efficiency in 2025, while others stated they would continue to deepen their expertise to offer more personalized services to clients. Some colleagues also expressed their desire to improve communication skills to better help clients solve problems and build long-term, stable partnerships.

The BBQ dinner began amid a lively discussion. Everyone sat around the table, grilling meat, fish, and vegetables, and actively participated, helping one another. “You grill the fish, I’ll flip the meat,” we worked together with great enthusiasm. While enjoying the food, we talked about work and life in the past year. After the BBQ, the gathering became more relaxed and joyful. We went to KTV to sing, played poker, and released stress, enjoying our own happy time. Laughter and games filled the air, making everyone feel the warmth and support of the team. It was the perfect way to shed the fatigue of the year and welcome the challenges of 2025.

2024 has passed, and we are full of confidence as we look forward to 2025. We wish everyone continued unity and progress in the new year, with smooth work, happy families, and even more prosperous careers!
